Concierge Care -FAQ

What are the benefits of becoming a concierge member?

This model of medicine is designed for those who value time, peace of mind, and precision. Concierge medicine is for patients who prioritize meaningful access to their physician, offering continuity and a collaborative approach—where your doctor is available, engaged, and invested in your care every step of the way.

What is the cost to join, and are there any add-on options?

The base concierge membership is $3,000 per year and includes all core benefits. Couples receive a 10% discount when enrolling together.

Optional enhancements include:

  • House calls (up to 4 per year): $1,000 annually
  • Full care coordination (scheduling labs, imaging, and specialists): $500 annually

How does having a Care Coordinator help?

Your Care Coordinator acts as a personal advocate — assisting with communication, resolving issues with pharmacies or specialists, and ensuring your care remains coordinated and consistent. Support is available directly and promptly, providing a single point of contact for questions or follow-through between visits.

For members who choose the Full Care Coordination add-on, the Care Coordinator also handles scheduling of labs, imaging, and specialist appointments on your behalf.

Do you bill insurance in addition to the membership fee?

We’ve simplified the process so there’s no insurance billing for office visits. Your annual concierge fee covers all in-office appointments and access to your Care Coordinator. Insurance can still be used for labs, imaging, and specialist care, but there are no co-pays or surprise bills from our office.

What happens if I go to the ER or am hospitalized?

Dr. Kermani remains involved, collaborating directly with the hospital team and reviewing your medical history to ensure continuity. Hospital records are obtained in advance of your post-discharge visit to support a smooth transition back to outpatient care.

Can concierge care also benefit a parent — and keep family members informed?

Concierge care can be very beneficial for parents, especially when managing ongoing or complex health needs. With the patient’s permission, family members can be kept informed and involved through coordinated updates and care planning, offering peace of mind and reducing stress for everyone

How is concierge medicine different from traditional primary care?

Concierge medicine is designed for accessibility, time, and depth care. It offers extended visits, direct communication with your physician, and the support of a dedicated Care Coordinator who ensures every detail is managed seamlessly. The result is timely, personalized care focused on prevention, continuity, and lasting relationships built on trust.
